The Merchants' Bridge is a charming example of medieval architecture. It is the longest medieval bridge in Europe with homes, measuring 79 meters.
The lower levels of these charming ancient merchants' homes are currently used as galleries, antique stores, ateliers, wine merchants, delicatessens, boutiques, and cafés.

Augustine's Monastery dates from the 13th century, when Augustinian monks settled in Erfurt. It was built by Augustinian friars, an order of the Catholic Church. The imposing building will catch the eye of every passer-by.

This tourist jewel shows biodiversity, and it is quite remarkable to see it stationed in the middle of Erfurt. Beautiful garden creations and flower fairy tales for the ones in love.

The largest square and most famous is Domplatz. You will find the statue of Erthat-Obelisk, the Roman Goddess the Minervabrunnen from 1784, and Erfurt Cathedral.
Every morning, from Monday to Saturday, a market is held in the plaza where you can buy fruits and vegetables, sausages, eggs, honey, cheese, and other delicacies. This market tradition dates back to the 8th or 9th century.

The centre of all events is Fischmarkt. You will see marvellous murals from Thuringian history and get familiar with one part of Martin Luther's life. There are gorgeous Renaissance houses that give a touch of uniqueness to this town.

It's time for lunch! If you are into trying something unique in this part of Germany, try Thuringer Bratwurst sausage, which has protected geographical indication status under EU law. You will be blown away by the taste and smell.

St. Mary's Chapel is a Roman Catholic Church built in the Gothic style in 1480.
There are several graves of Wurzburg residents and Franconian knights. You will find a grave of Konrad von Schaumberg by Riemenschneider, the knight who died in 1499, and the tomb of Balthasar Neumann, a prominent Baroque architect.

Wurzburg Cathedral dates back to the 11th century and is dedicated to St. Kilian. Its impressive edifice attracts many tourists and has one of the country's oldest bells, the Lobdeburg Bell. The bell was cast in 1257, and it rings every Friday at 15:00 in remembrance of Jesus Christ's death on the cross.

The bridge constructed with stones and decorated with several Baroque statues of saints. It connects the Old Town to the suburbs along the River Main's left bank.
It's interesting to take a walk along the bridge at night and see the statues being lit up. Furthermore, it is quite magical.
