Today is the second and last day of the route. You will start the day by uncovering all the secrets of Chimay, its beer and cheese tradition and its famous abbey. After that, enjoy the scenic drive up to Dinant, the beautiful city that is bordered by the Meuse river. You will enjoy magnificent view and beautiful old fortress visiting the Citadel of Dinant and Namur.

In the 19th Century, a small group of monks moved to the residence on the high plateau of Scourmont and decided to make beer from the water available in abundance on this marshy plateau. A few years later, they also began to produce cheese.
Espace Chimay offers an interactive visit where you will learn everything about the region, the monk life, the beers and the cheeses. The visit also includes the entrance the Scourmont Abbey.
