Stenshuvud's National Park
Landmark
Open Details
This National Park was established in 1986. Take in the beauties of the wind coming from the Baltic Sea on the sandy beach, bike, or walk the well-maintained paths in the forest. It's relatively flat and if you hike up the hill, the view is breathtaking and definitely worth it!
Near the top, there's fortress ruins from the 5th or 6th century. As you take a step on the hill, you may hear a loud groan coming from it. The name 'Stenshuvud' means 'Stone head', which from the folkore legend, this hill was a giant that lived in Giddastuan. So, be careful with each step!
