Prague Castle is about half an hour walk from the hotel, but since it is hard to find parking, you are better off walking back and forth before leaving the city.
The city's castle is not only one of the most popular tourist attractions in Prague and a must-visit, but it has also been home to the country's rulers. Today, the Czech president resides in the castle.
It is believed that Prague Castle dates all the way back to year 880, though since then it has undergone several fortifications.

Walk back to the hotel to pick up the car to drive to Nuremberg.

Take a stop by the Zámek Křimice castle. Most days it is not open to the public, mainly just for special events in the garden in the evenings. However, it is perfectly viewed from the outside and along the river. It is a wonderful place for taking a stroll to stretch your legs.

Grab a quick pizza on the go at Kuska Pizza for lunch. They are not open at this time on Monday, Saturday, and Sunday, so you can alternatively go to Restaurace Roští which is open on Saturdays and Sundays (though also closed on Mondays,) or grab some food at the Mini Market that is nearby. It can be a good idea to pass by there nonetheless to stock up with some snacks and drinks for the drive. There are not many other places open at this time of the day.

Make a quick stop after crossing the German border to have a little walk around and take some pictures of the fairytale castle of Friedrichsburg in Vohenstrauss from the outside.
The gothic renaissance castle houses the tourism information and some administration offices today and it is rented out for exhibitions and concerts.

Drive across the border to Germany (which you again will not notice you cross) and check in at the Design-Boutique Hotel Vosteen in Nuremberg. They have private parking at the hotel, but it might be full so that you have to park in the street.

Take a stroll to see the Imperial Castle of Nuremberg from the outside. It is usually closed after 16:00, but has been temporarily closed with no information about when it will re-open, so you should check out their website if you are looking for more information about opening hours here.
The Imperial Castle of Nuremberg is no arguing the city's most prominent landmark and

St. Sebaldus Church is one of the most beautiful churches in Nuremberg with mesmerizing stained glass windows letting in a warm light. Most of the church was destroyed during World War II and you can see pictures from before, during, and after the reconstruction.
The church closes at 18:00 every day.

The 14th-century Schöner Brunnen fountain is towering on the main marketplace by the city's town hall. The 19-meter tall Gothic spire is one of Nuremberg's main attractions and worth walking by. Painted in gold in the 1400s, it was later ignored. Restoration work took place first at the end of the 1500s and later at the beginning of the 1800s.
Legend has it that if you turn the brass ring that is loose on the chain of the fountain 3 times, your wishes will come true. Back in the days, it was connected to couples that could not get children.

Have dinner at this lovely Czech restaurant. The atmosphere is super cozy and the food is amazing. They even have a handful of veggie options, like fried mushrooms or cauliflowers with potatoes and sauce, which are both delicious. This is not a place to miss, and they have great beers there too.
