Let`s visit your next impressive building in Baden-Baden called the Trinkhalle. It built between 1839 and 1842 by Heinrich Hübsch. Originally it was built for the drinking cures which importance increased in the 19th century. As you walk in, you found a 90-meter-long open walkway which divided by arcades. Its 16 pillars evoke the Roman history of Baden-Baden. In the loggia the 14 wall panels invite you on a journey into the mythical world of the northern Black Forest by the picturesque representations of regional legends.
The central entrance of the building is a triangular gable. As you continue your discovery, you find allegorical figures which show the healing by the spring nymph. Continue your journey along the main staircase, which brings you to the square fountain hall. The fountain has thermal water from the Schlossberg. In front of the drinking hall, you find a bust from Emperor Wilhelm I. It was created by Joseph von Kopf in 1875.

Your next stop will bring you to the beautiful raw nature of Germany. Begin your journey from the „Wasserfallstrasse“(waterfall road) . After a short walk through the dense woods of the Black Forest, you arrive to the six-metre high Geroldsau Waterfall. Enjoy the place where Johannes Brahms and Gustave Courbet stood once to gather inspiration for their work.

This hotel is situated in the dark fir wood next to a beautifull lake. It is the largest of the seven remaining cirque lakes in the Black Forest. The name comes from the white water lillies which called Mummeln.
The lake is also the home of mystical figures who lives deep under the water in a magnificent crystal castle. The castle is surrounded by beautiful gardens where blood red coral grows next to the delicate water lily. Every night they rise to the surface and perform a dance or visit the nearest houses in the valley.

The castle was built in 1300s by the Windeck family. The once magnificent castle belonged to kings until the late 16th century when the line ran out. As you are walking in, the standing walls echo the proud heritage of the Windeck family. It also offers panoramic views of the valley from the still intact tower.

The ancient monastery is deep inside the Black Forest. It was built in 1192 with a simple wooden construction. During its history, the building burned down several times but its history still but exists today as a haunting ruin.
