Let`s visit your next impressive building in Baden-Baden called the Trinkhalle. It built between 1839 and 1842 by Heinrich Hübsch. Originally it was built for the drinking cures which importance increased in the 19th century.
As you walk in, you found a 90-meter-long open walkway which divided by arcades. Its 16 pillars evoke the Roman history of Baden-Baden. In the loggia the 14 wall panels invite you on a journey into the mythical world of the northern Black Forest by the picturesque representations of regional legends.
The central entrance of the building is a triangular gable. As you continue your discovery, you find allegorical figures which show the healing by the spring nymph. Continue your journey along the main staircase, which brings you to the square fountain hall. The fountain has thermal water from the Schlossberg. In front of the drinking hall, you find a bust from Emperor Wilhelm I. It was created by Joseph von Kopf in 1875.
