This small but informative museum includes immersive exhibits like a Wigwam escape room and a history of the indigenous origins of lacrosse. They also host special events throughout the year.

Before you bid farewell to the Litchfield Hills, take a visit to Lovers Leap State Park in New Milford. This scenic area along the Housatonic River has miles of walkings trails that visit vistas and vacant ruins. However, the highlight of the park is the 1895 Berlin Iron Bridge across the Housatonic. There are no entrance fees to visit, so feel free to snap a photo and head on your merry way.
