Leopold Hoesch Museum & Paper Museum Düren is the world’s first museum dedicated to the history of paper and is located in the former factory of Leopold Hoesch.
The buildings have been preserved and now house a interesting collection of machinery, documents and products that tell the story of papermaking.

Alte Bahn Brücke Linie Horrem - Mödrath is a old railway bridge, which was recently renovated and turned into a pedestrian and bicycle bridge. The bridge spans the Rhine river and provides stunning views of the river and the surrounding countryside.
There are also a number of cafes nearby, making it the perfect place to take a break.

Impulskugeln - Weg der Sinne is a must see and this is a path of sensory perception that was created by the local artist, Horst Gläsker.
There are a total of 18 stations along the path, each with a different sensory experience. For example, at one station you can hear the sound of Aachen Cathedral bells, while at another station you can smell fragrant herbs.

Alter Turm in Nierderkassel is one of the most interesting places to visit. The history of this place is really fascinating and it is definitely worth a visit. The tower was built in the 13th century and it used to be part of the city wall. It is now one of the only remains of the city wall.
The views from the top of the tower are really breathtaking and it is definitely worth the climb.

Triple One Restaurant in Troisdorf is a great place to try local dishes. The restaurant is located in an old building which used to be a bank. The Triple One serves traditional German food such as schnitzel, sauerkraut and potatoes.
There is also a wide selection of beer and wine. The restaurant has a cozy atmosphere and the staff are friendly and helpful. Opening Hours:
