Waterfalls & a Day at a Beautiful Nature Reserve

Park your car and take a stroll to see the waterfall gate and the beautiful nature surrounding it.

Take in the beauty of the water as it cascades down. This waterfalls is about 32 meters in height. Fallens dagar ("Days of the Waterfalls"), are the days where they have the waterfall coming down. This would be on the 3rd Friday of July every year. But it's still a cool place to wander around and check out the trails or just enjoy the nature.

Be sure to have you're map up before getting to Glaskogen. There's not much for reception there. Once you near the area there are trees standing tall on each side of you and you'll see glimpses of the lake with its translucent water. There are several hiking trails here and places to make a fire. They have a little store here as well, so you can purchase what you want to eat later for dinner. There are canoes that you can rent and swimming is permitted. If you have a dog with you, it might be best to rent a cottage here or camp out. Open hours for Info.
