Masurian Lake District

After what I hope was a wonderful night in comfort and nature, get up and take a short drive to this brilliant kayaking spot. On the outskirts of Warmia Park, this lovely spot provides new kayaks in good condition that you can use to ride around the picturesque Jezioro Pluszne Wielkie lake.

Now it's time to drive into the lovely town of Olsztyn and, just before, you will arrive at the beautiful beach of Kortowo. This lovely place is one of the most naturally beautiful spots in Poland and very dear to everyone who lives nearby. Relax on the beach, swim in the lake and marvel in the invigorating wildlife nearby, including some wonderful birds.

Now it's time to eat, and this restaurant will be just what the doctor ordered! A quaint restaurant in the center of Olsztyn, here you can eat a range of great Polish dishes in an idyllic setting. The waiters here are especially friendly (although their English will be lacking), and the food is extremely well presented, with a delectable variety of cakes, pastries and tarts.

Next, a little further on, is the magical lake of Ukiel. Here you can swim, admire the wildlife and truly see one of the most natural hotspots of Poland. Walk around the lake, going into a restaurant, one of the many beaches, or even a spa at the Pirat Hotel! I would just recommend swimming around, taking in the wildlife, as this is truly heaven on Earth for anyone who wants to relax in a naturally gorgeous setting.

Now, as you make the journey back to Warsaw, it's time to stop by for dinner at this charming bistro. The aesthetic here is majestic, there's a reason it's chosen as a venue for weddings. The owner, Robert, is a lovely guy who will love a chat and perhaps show you his favourite motorbike! If you are vegetarian, they will cater for you, and the waitress speaks great English. The traditional burger and shrimps are to die for!
