Another landmark you can't skip is Roeder Gate, one of five main gates that are used as the main entrance in a town.

Market Square, as the center of the city, is something you cannot miss. It's adorned with a giant Town Hall and a fountain in the middle. The entire square represents the pride of Rothenburg residents and the way they used to live. Renaissance-style façade, and charming timber-frame homes are all around.

The imposing St. Jacob Church was built between 1311-1484. The central part of the church is occupied by the altar made by Friedrich Herlin.
In the morning, you will notice the windows in the east choir being illuminated in a variety of colors. If you look closely, you will see the exodus of the Jewish people from Egypt.
From July 3rd, 2022, St. James' Church will be open from Monday to Saturday from 10:00 – 18:00, and Sunday from 11:00 – 18:00.

A long time ago, there was a Stauferburg Castle in the location of Rothenburg's Garden. Unfortunately, it was destroyed by an earthquake in 1356 and now, people can enjoy touring the fantastic park while recalling the past.
Since the opening hours something change, the best thing is to check before you start your journey.

If you ever google Rothenburg, the image of this fork in the road on Untere Schmiedgasse is the one you come across.
The most attractive structure in the group is a little half-timbered home in the middle of the fork with a tiny fountain in front and a peaked gable.

The old house first built was built in Wenggasse in 1469. It was one of many houses that were destroyed in a bombing strike in March 1945, but luckily it was rebuilt by 1948. Until 1967, a blacksmith worked here, producing horseshoes.

After being attacked by Swedish soldiers in 1648, the Segringer Gate crashed and was later rebuilt in the Baroque style in 1655. Although it's not located in the city center, it offers a charming view over the roofs of the old town to St. Georg Minster.

All the houses and sights are kept very elaborately in the style of the Middle Ages. It's a rustic and well-preserved ambience which delights with its charm.
You will see the Cathedral of Saint George and take a picture in front of the unique 15th-century Deutsches Haus of the Counts of Dreschsel-Deufstetten.

The imposing tower has welcomed travelers entering Dinkelsbuhl from the north for more than 600 years. It was built around 1390 to regulate what was once a main road.

This is a magnificent square where you'll see remarkable constructions built in the 10th century, like Perlach Tower and a fountain with a statue of Augustus which was built in 1594 and designed by Dutch artist, Hubert Gerhard.

In Moritz Square, you will see a colorful Weberhous, built in 1389 and used as a seat of the weavers' guild. It served as the heart of Augsburg's medieval textile industry.
