Craters, Nature Hidden Gems, & a Relaxing Beach

Now it's time to park your car so you can hike to the craters and walk around these natural holes in Mount Etna.

This resides on the south side of the volcano Mount Etna and these two craters are from the eruption in 1892. These craters were named after Professor Orazio Silvestri. He was a geologist and volcanologist that lived for studying Etna's ways. There's easy access to walking around this area. But be prepared, this is a popular place and it can be crowded.

At times of the year, it can be quite touristy. But the unmatched views can make it well worth it. The food adds to this place as well with its delicious aromas in the air. A plethora of outdoor activities are offered in this one of a kind nature spot. If you have an extra day, this would be a great place for it. There's rafting, swimming and trails that you can venture down to take in the ancient gorge. But the last excursion is at 12. But you can venture around the area to see the views from land. On the coastline, stop by this long beach to relax from a long day. Dip your toes in the water or jump in. Find a place to park on the street.
