The Monastery of Rezevici is an ancient structure with much rich history to reveal. According to local legend, the building were built around the1220s by Stefan Nemanjić, who was the grand prince of Serbia in 1196 and was the acting king of Serbia from 1217 until his death in 1228.
This very well-preserved house of worship was also used by the Paštrovići tribe in ancient times as a place where they hold important meeting to determine matters of law and appoint their chieftain.
These days it is open to all who desire to explore its rich history and admire the art and beauty therein. Surrounded by nature and with magnificent views of mountains and the sea, it is truly a place worth visiting!

For the final meal on this journey, you will make your way to Pečenjara Gostiona Nadoveza for a taste of local food, with their specialty being meat slowly cooked to perfection!
