Start off your morning by taking the short but scenic trip on the cable car (more like a tram) up to the top of Gubalowka mountain. There are some small market stalls and coffee huts where you can buy a pastry just outside of the station at the bottom of the tram line. Grab a quick beverage before you go up.
The tram takes just a few minutes and is beautiful any time of the year. Once at the top, you can enjoy your nice coffee and pastry – or a beer if you want to start early – with an incredible panoramic view of the Tatras. This is a spot to just chill for a bit. Spend 30 mins or more, just taking in the fresh mountain air.

This is one of the closest car parks to your next attraction. 50zl for the whole day is reasonable. Bring cash, don't rely on card payment.
You're heading to Kasprowy Wierch from here. It's possible to walk (takes about 30 minutes, depending on how fit you are) but minibusses leave every 10 minutes from just outside the car park and it's a short 11-minute journey to the base of the cable car. You cannot drive all the way to the cable car station, unfortunately.

Gubalowka was just the warmup. You can't possibly come to this region of the world without doing this ultimate activity. A cable car up Kasprowy Wierch mountain. Simply a magnificent experience. Something straight out of an old-school 007 movie. If you're not particularly into hiking or skiing, this might be a once-in-a-lifetime event - not to be missed.
Be warned, you need to pre-book tickets online to be sure of a spot. Your ticket will have a registered time that you need to come back down on too. You'll have about 2 hours at the summit to enjoy a refreshment and view.

Once you come down from the peak, it's time for lunch. This great little spot is likely to be very busy during peak season as the restaurants in the area are limited. Here you can grab some hearty Polish foods such as local farmed sausage and eggs, pierogi, soups, and warm stews. Delicious stuff.

Now for the second MUST-see of the day, the Chocholowska baths – the largest thermal baths in Poland. Beware, this place gets extremely crowded, unfortunately. But the thermal baths are incredible.
You have an array of indoor and outdoor pools and spas. One of the pools has a bar if you're so inclined! The sauna and massage area is a nice way to begin your session before cooling off in the pool a bit. Outside, the air is mountain fresh and the view really adds to the experience. Expect to spend a few hours here. It's nice, and a must-do experience. The crowds do make it a little more stressful than ideal, though.

Take a quick pit stop here on the way home. You might need a drop of caffeine and a dessert to-go after that pizza. It'll break up the journey of getting home.
Getting out of the Tatra mountains can be slow-going. The roads are windy and there's often a lot of holiday traffic – making the journey tiresome. You've got a clear road ahead of you back to Kraków after this pit stop.
