Mountains and Waterfalls

When you walk along the beach and the surrounding area, you're likely to find local fauna. Curious squirrels are not afraid of people and even beg for food themselves. Coming closer to the water, you may see the whole family of sea lions resting on the rocks.

You can't help stopping at Morro Strand State Beach on the way to Los Angeles! Here you can surf or kayak or just walk along the beach to the cliffs. During the trip you can meet sea lions, otters, seagulls, herons and marmots.
Cars can be left in a large parking lot next to the beach.

Lake Kachuma is a place that is suitable for a quiet and peaceful holiday. You can rent a boat or fish from the pier, and there are several playgrounds for children and sports on the beach.

Boathouse attracts guests with its panoramic terrace and delicious food.
Restaurant's lunch menu is quite diverse, good choice of soups, salads and various snacks. Among the main dishes, visitors recommend seafood pasta or pork on the grill.

You should walk to the waterfalls, and this walk will give you many impressions. To the left of the waterfall there is a stone grotto. To capture the best views, it is better to go up the stairs on the opposite side.

Nobu is probably one of the most famous restaurants in Malibu. In the menu there are dishes of Japanese cuisine in an interesting modern interpretation. There are both – quite usual offers, like rolls and sushi and also some unusual author's experiments. A table is best booked in advance.
