Combine nature and outdoor experiences with charming half-timbered towns and enjoy Black Forest and Alsatian specialties, wine and French lifestyle - an unbeatable mixture!
You will spend the first two days in the midst of impressive nature in the Black Forest National Park. With the Mummelsee and the Hornisgrinde you will visit two of the top sights of the Black Forest and hike through small gorges with waterfalls and through the vineyards in Sasbachwalden, where you will also spend the night.
The picturesque "flower and wine village" of Sasbachwalden, situated on the slope below the Black Forest High Road, not only offers pretty half-timbered houses and vineyards, but also a great view of the Rhine plain across to France. From here you can already see your next destination: Strasbourg!
Explore the "European capital" with its beautiful old town, enjoy the view from the tower of the cathedral and let yourself be sailed by boat through the canals from the Tanner quarter to the European Parliament. On the last day, the trip continues to Colmar, which will also enchant you with its famous old town with colorful half-timbered houses and quaint Alsatian wine taverns.
