Blue John Cavern, Monsal Head Viaduct, and Matlock
Drive into the heart of the Peak District and descend into one of its most famous attractions, Blue John Cavern, in Castleton. After ducking and squeezing your way around here, re-emerge on ground level to continue the drive towards Matlock, stopping at the Monsal Head Viaduct, before spending the rest of the afternoon at your destination. Here you'll eat very well, hire a boat on the river, and visit a local waterfall.
