    In three days you will discover the traces of the Paleolitic era in the Caves of Gargas, the beautiful cathedral of Saint Bertrand des Comminges, which is also called the Mont Saint Michel of the Pyrenees due to its location, and the stunning Atlantic coast close, between Biarritz and Hendaye, close to the Spanish boarder.
    Entering Spain there will be the city of San Sebastiàn waiting for you, another gem on the coast, which is also renowned for its traditional food — the pinchos. And the itinerary will stop in Pamplona, a beautiful and tumultuous city, with an ancient and rich history.

    On the first day, the route unfolds starting from Toulouse and going East towards the coast, arriving in Biarritz where you will spend the night. The first discovery on the itinerary are the Gargas Cave and the rock paintings of the Palaeolithic Era. After this amazing spot, there is the “Mont Saint-Michel of the Pyrenees”, Saint-Bertrand Des Commingles, with its stunning cathedral on top of the cliff. Getting closer to the coast, the following stop is the city of Pau, a royal location, since it hosted the court of Navarre and Henry IV. Here you will have the chance to go for a ride on the historical cable way, which will bring you to the higher part of the city to admire the Pyrenees.

    The second day route will take you to explore the coast of Atlantic Pyrenees in the south of France, and the one of Basque Country in the north of Spain. This is a cross-boarder itinerary which include the beautiful maritime towns of Biarritz and Donostia-San Sebastiàn, with its beautiful beaches and treasures. In the middle of this seaside trip, there is also the Château d'Abbadie in Hendaye, with its most ancient observatory on the astronomic studies.

    The last day is all about Pamplona, the well-known capital of Navarre, that hosts the most famous and controversial running of the bulls in the streets of the city. But this itinerary it is not just about that. You will discover the history of a city whose origins are dated back to Romans time and the testimony of a period of threats and war to protect the royal court of Navarre. The main stops in the city will be the Ciudadela, that was the ancient-fortified location, then the beautiful park of Taconera, followed by Plaza del Castillo, Plaza de Toros and the Cathedral of Santa Maria la Real.
