Las Médulas, a Surprising Landscape
Ready for the second day on the road? The idea of this day is to get to know one of the most striking sites in the province of Castilla y León: the Médulas.
This landscape originated from the exploitation of gold since Roman times. With the passing of time, the landscape that we enjoy today was formed.
Along the walk through Las Médulas you can see viewpoints, go hiking and visit a lake where you can have a swim if the weather is good.
Before returning to León, you will pass through the small town of Villafranca del Bierzo.
