Then, venture to an old water tower and learn about its history by checking out the Viking murals on the 2nd floor. Next up, wander to an artificial ruin site. It was built in 1907 and was left as is on purpose. Even so, this is a known place to visit because of the meaning behind it. After that, check out Greyfriars Abbey that holds a past of being a place for friars who were force away. Take in the beauty of the protruding stones at Vårhallen as you walk along the waterline. Once you have had your fill of that place, it's time to take a quick jaunt into a forest to see a hidden little waterfall that's in a great place to relax and unwind.
The next day starts off going to a place of folklore legend, Stenshuvud National Park. There, you can wander for hours and take in the biodiversity from beaches to forests. After a long day in the National Park, rejuvenate yourself by learning with an interactive exhibit called Naturum Vattenriket, where you can learn all about the nature in that area. This day is filled with activities outdoors. Yet another exciting place to explore is Galgberget. This is known to be an old execution site. Besides that, it has a variety of things to see or do, like an open-air museum, go on hikes, or use the outdoor gyms.
The last day is less strenuous with activities and more of gazing at the vibrant colors of flowers. This day starts off with wandering up Kärnan and taking in the scenery from atop of this tower. Then it's time to drive to Sofiero Palace, which has a restaurant and a one of a kind garden that's worth a look. After that, take in the beauty of Lund's Botanical garden which has over thousands of different kinds of plants. Finally, end the trip with a view of Lund's Cathedral. Take a ride on the southern coast and see the southernmost town in Sweden, Trelleborg. Learn at their interactive museum more about the area in a fun way. Then head to the artificial yet beautiful Hörte ruin. The story behind it being built is filled with a heartbreaking romance of how things end. Journey back on the road and start to head to Greyfriars Abbey and learn about the history of this place that was a gift in 1267.
Wander the peaceful garden or stare in admiration of the building with its added parts over time. Thereafter, it's time to venture into a nature spot, Vårhallen. There, you can relish at the wonders of the smooth stone formations near the water.
