Day 1

Across the Mountains to Route 66
Nestled in the San Juan mountains, day one starts in the small silver mining town of Durango, Colorado. The road trip route continues south through New Mexico and across the Navajo Nation with stops in Farmington and Gallup, New Mexico while visiting a couple of national park sites along the way.
The route is mostly secondary roads and there's a quick stop to charge the vehicle since the route is approximately 165 miles one way between Durango and Gallup to allow for any extra stops.
Remember to wear comfortable shoes for the walking and outdoor activities.

Go West! Gallup to Flagstaff
Day two of your sunny southwest road trip is easy interstate driving and takes you from Route 66 in Gallup to a new state - Arizona - and another spectacular national park - Petrified Forest National Park. The overnight and dinner will be in Flagstaff, Arizona.
There's an opportunity to charge the vehicle in the morning and mid-afternoon since this portion of the road trip is 183 miles.
As always, wear comfortable shoes for the walking activities.
