Start your journey with a quick stop at the picturesque Isolella beach. This small stretch of sand is surrounded by interesting rock formations. It's a great spot for pictures and a quick dip (or just your toes) in the water. There is free parking on site.

Discover Corsica's mysterious past at Filitosa. Documenting over 8,000 years of history, it's one of Europe's most important megalithic sites. Here you'll find several standing stones with humanoid features carved into them reminiscent of the Easter Island statues. There are also remnants of settlements dating back to the late Late Neolithic and early Bronze Age and a small museum.

The hotel also has a spa, swimming pool and a restaurant. Upon check in, you can stay by the pool or proceed to the next destination.

Head to the King of Aragon's staircase for a little adventure with a dash of unusual. Take a walk down the 187 steps carved into a limestone rock. The staircase was created to access a well that has since dried out. Keep in mind that once you go down, you have to climb the stairs back up.

Take a stroll through Bonifactio's little streets and immerse yourself in years of history. Make your way to the medieval-style Boniface Palace. The building is home to an archeological museum that is currently closed. Across you can see the Church of Ste Marie-Majeure, a 13th-century Catholic church in Romanesque style.

The bastion (also known as the Standard Bastion) was once the city's main stronghold. It's located inside the gateway of the citadel. You can also visit the underground halls, learn more about the history of the defensive, and check out the Medieval architecture.

Dominating above the city is a massive defensive fort. Construction started during the 12th century and was completed by the Republic of Genoa to protect the trade route to Genoa. The French added additional features during the 19th century. This is the perfect spot for a bit of history and magnificent views of Bonifacio.
