You must be wondering how did Genoese Castle arise in Türkiye? Initially, this castle was named Yoros Castle from the Eastern Roman periods on the Anadolu Kavagi ridge in Istanbul. After the empire weakened, it fell into the hands of the Genoese and remained in their hands for a long time. Hence, it's believed that the name of this fortress originated in that period (14th century).
Although the castle is not well preserved, it offers a superb view of the Black Sea.
Note: You can't get via car tick to the castle. You must leave it down the road and walk for around 10min to get to the top.

Welcome to Akcakoca, a city that lies on the sea. Something you should visit is a central mosque, modern concrete artifact with a copper roof, and two minarets with an almost spatial shape.
There is a massive chandelier inside the mosque. It has the same geometry as the building but hangs upside down.
The mosque represents an interesting game of symmetries for those who have time and desire to grasp.

Located in Karadeniz Ereğli, the Alemdar Ship is the unarmed rescue ship of the only naval conflict in the War of Independence.
The Alemdar Ship transported the weapons and ammunition needed by the army to Trabzon and Inebolu.
It has been rebuilt in the exact dimensions and turned into a museum.

According to mythology, Heracles came here in 1200 BC to perform the last 12th task given to him by King Eurystheus. Heracles entered the cave and went to the land of Hades and brought to earth the three-headed dog Cerberus, the guardian of the underworld.
A narrow passage will lead you to three caves. They are something you shouldn't skip.

Zonguldak Mining Museum will teach you to cherish your life more and show you how to embrace all the nice things surrounding you. It will explain how hard it is to earn while spending most of your time underground.

This lighthouse is one of the few that offers an incredible view of the Black Sea. It romanticizes the moment that is rarely repeated.

The tunnel, which the coal company used for years, was later restored for touristic visits. Although it's an industrial tunnel, the moment you cross it, you will be amazed by a smashing view, especially if you go at sunset.
The tunnel is 500 meters long. The entrance looks scary initially, but the entire tunnel is well illuminated, and the camera is on 24/7. There is no need to be afraid.
