Climbing at a High-Ropes Park and Observing Animals at a Wildlife Enclosure

Visiting the high-ropes park K1 is an exciting adventure for the whole family. Here, you get to connect with nature in a completely new way as you (safely) climb among tree tops.

You can park your car at the free car park at Schallemicher Straße 40.

After all that climbing fun, you are sure to be looking forward to a filling lunch by now. Expect seasonal and regional (Bergisch) dishes accompanied by a beautiful view and friendly service at this family-owned gem overlooking the Scherfbach Valley. The half-timbered house will give you all the cosy German vibes while you and your family will be fuelling up for the rest of your day.

The wildlife enclosure Wildgehege Leidenhausen is open 24/7 throughout the whole year. Here, you get the opportunity to observe wild boars as well as red deer. If you plan your trip around April/May time, you might even be able to spot some young wild boar and deer calves, as they are born around that time of the year.

Let the day come to a close with a certain round dish that is usually unanimously accepted by all family members, young and old: a traditional Italian pizza! Talk about your highlights of the day, and begin to wind down before it is soon time to hit the hay.
