The road is to Congonhas do Campo, but it is worth taking this little detour to visit the Século XVIII distillery, the oldest cachaçaria in Brazil. Cachaça is the most typical drink in Brazil, and it is the drink with which a good caipirinha is made. You will have the chance to taste it straight from the source, hear good stories, and finally understand the process of production. Just remember that the driver of the group cannot drink, for safety's sake and because in Brazil the level of alcohol allowed for driving is zero.
