Today's route will take you to the beautiful Algonquin Provincial Park, but before that, you'll take visit a butter tart specialist bakery, learn about the stories of the bravery of the local native people at a 17th century mill, go for a walk down a buzzy boardwalk, and tuck into lunch at an old service station. Before you know it, you'll be off to the park with a short hike to Whiskey Rapids. Though the park is full of many different trails, Whiskey Rapids is a great one to do because it's a moderate 2.1 km loop where you'll be walking beside the Oxtongue River before getting to the rapids themselves. Make sure you keep an eye out in case some of the famous park wildlife make an appearance.
