- Marvel at Mostar's iconic 16th-century Ottoman bridge, Stari Most.
- Swim in the clear, turquoise waters of Kravica Falls, one of Bosnia and Herzegovina's most beautiful natural landscapes.
- Wander the lesser-known, cobble stoned streets of Trebinje Old Town.
Dubrovnik, also known as the Pearl of Adriatic, finds itself surrounded by a number of brilliant day trip destinations. There's the sleepy, peaceful town of Cavtat and the magical country of Montenegro, as well as Lokrum, The Elafiti Islands, Korčula, Split and of course, the beautiful Balkan city of Mostar in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Mostar is an UNESCO World Heritage-listed location rich in culture, history, and captivating architecture. And despite its turbulent and tragic history (you'll still see a few scars scattered around the city, alluding to its war-torn past), the people here are some of the kindest you'll meet. You'll stumble upon a postcard-perfect Old Town, an iconic Ottoman bridge (widely considered one of the most beautiful bridges in the world and the most photographed landmark in the city), a stunning 17th century mosque, and lots of quaint cobbled streets which are well worth exploring. On this one-day road trip starting in Dubrovnik, you'll soak up all of these fascinating spots in Mostar, and much more. Look forward to stopping off for coffee in the small town of Trebinje, followed by a quiet stroll in medieval Stolac and a dip in the dream-like waters of Kravica Falls.

Old Bridge Mostar
Landmark
Open Details
Next stop – the iconic Stari Most (also known as Mostar Bridge or the Old Bridge). This beautiful, historic landmark is unsurprisingly one of Bosnia and Herzegovina's key attractions. While visiting the bridge this afternoon, keep your eyes peeled for divers jumping into the river Neretva below! Take some time admiring the architecture of this unique bridge in all its glory (and see if you can identify its Ottoman, Mediterranean and western European influences). Like much of Mostar, the Old Bridge was destroyed during the 1990s conflict, then was later rebuilt and restored with the help of UNESCO World Heritage. The reconstructed Stari Most stands today as a symbol of reconciliation – representing the coexistence of Mostar's diverse cultural, ethnic and religious communities.
