The proposal is not to visit the Town Hall as it is not always open to the public for tours. But my intention is that you admire the beauty of this emblematic building and the entire Grote Mark, surrounded by extraordinary buildings.

Beautiful church!!, it took my breath away to walk around inside it.
It is a huge Romanesque Gothic church, full of works of art and has an impressive Müller organ, once played by Mozart himself and other important musicians.

What if I told you that there is a church where you are welcomed with a delicious beer?
We'd all go to mass more often... That's for sure!
This is a beautiful brewery located in what used to be the old St. Jacob's church. You can taste the local beer called Jopen which is brewed right here or try other local beers brewed from medieval recipes and enjoy yourself in this unusual setting.
I suggest you stop by for something to drink, but lunch will be at another very special place...

Now it's time to eat!
Here you can eat the most delicious savory pancakes (pannenkoeken) I have ever tasted anywhere! They are delicious and with a beautiful view of the canal.
They have a huge variety of pancakes and drinks and the service is excellent.... Don't wait any longer, order your lunch now!

This is one of the most beautiful corners of Utrecht! I love this part of the city...
After lunch, I recommend that you cross on the other side of the canal and walk along the promenade alongside the canal. It's a very lovely path, full of shops and a lot of charm.
You'll see that it's where most of the shops are concentrated. But don't linger too long, there's still a lot to visit.

Time to get on the road again !!

A very central car park, ideal to leave you close to everything you will visit in Gouda.

I'm crazy about these sweets, I admit it!
If you visit these factories you will learn about the history behind these siroopwaffels (they are typical from Holland and were created here in Gouda), you will discover the process of how they are made, and you will get to taste one at the end of the visit.
Opening hours: Monday – Saturday: 10:00 – 18:00 Sunday: Closed
Important to consider: The visit is supposed to take about one hour, but in our case it took us only 30 minutes to walk along the entire factory. There were no English audio guides, so a person from the staff explained everything to us while we were walking around.

With a belly full of joy and flavours, I suggest you go back to the car to continue eating... sorry! I meant travelling..

This is the best place to park your car.

This interactive museum entirely dedicated to Belgian chocolate... Mmmm! You will learn about its production process and its evolution through the ages. The audio guide is included in the price. At the end of the tour you can taste various types of chocolates.

This is a very comfortable car park close to where you will end up dining like a king, on this special day...

It is an amazing place in a great location. The food is excellent and the atmosphere very nice.
