Welcome to what will be a journey that will leave you speechless with wonder and adventure.
It is necessary, however, to make a necessary premise first. Driving in Tanzania is complex, and it would be best to be accompanied by a local driver who has experience with dirt and bumpy roads, with driving on the left, and with overtaking both left and right by bajajis (apecars used as cabs and often known around the world as tuk-tuks) and mopeds.
Knowing how to get around in Tanzania is the best way not to waste your time and it is not always easy to get correct information for two reasons: first, most of the people you will meet speak only Kiswahili so communication is extremely difficult and, second, their way of life is different and you have to know how to find the right mood to adapt to them. You need to know that life flows "pole pole," or slowly, here and so you need to know how to leave behind the unbridled pace typical of the West and let go of a life that flows slowly and unhurriedly.
That said, choose to take this trip between July and February and get ready to experience firsthand what you thought you could only see through a television screen. You know those wonderful documentaries that make you glue yourself to the TV and leave you speechless? Here's what your eyes will see. You'll see lions hunting antelope, buffalo stampeding, elephants with a plush pace, giraffes twisting around each other to cuddle, mischievous monkeys that will always try to steal your food, and so much more.
As if that weren't enough, you'll be enveloped in millions of different colors, intense stares, bright white smiles and lots of music. Hamna shida, Hakuna matata, No problem... That's how we live here! Are you ready? Abandon your troubles, let your eyes and heart be overwhelmed by the energy of these places and people.

The Lion Fell asleep... On A Tree
Have you ever seen lions climbing trees? Hardly, if not impossible.
It is an extremely unusual behavior that only the lions that inhabit Lake Manyara seem to have this habit.
Ernest Hemingway speaks of the area we will visit today as "the most beautiful I have ever seen in Africa," you don't want to miss it do you? A scenic gem, rich in flora, fauna and tribes.
Let's go and discover it together.

I want to share trivia and tips about the place with you before you reach your destination so you will be well aware of what you will experience.
Did you know that the Ngorongoro area is about the size of all of Umbria and that the crater alone is larger than the entire island of Elba?

Tribes, Colors and Hakuna Matata.
We devote this last day of the trip to culture by delving into the picturesque villages and tribes that inhabit this area.
If the charm of these places makes everything enchanting, the energy that the tribes give off is like the icing on the cake that will easily give you the so-called Africa-sickness.
Their colors are blinding, their gaze is piercing, their smiles light up everything.
I was completely mesmerized by it all and it is through them that I learned to love this continent.
