Wake up early and drive straight away to start this 3-day itinerary with the first one dedicated mainly to Salvator Dali.

There are also many dishes to share, but if you are travelling by yourself then I suggest you try the calamari, which is delicious both in Andalusian style or grilled.
The restaurant is open daily from 1:00 PM to 3:15 PM and from 7:30 PM to 10:00 PM and is closed on Sundays.

As you pass through Figueres, take the opportunity to see the bastioned fortress that has been declared the biggest one in Europe.
Return to the car to drive up the hill to reach this 18th century building, an example of refined construction methods applied to that period's military engineering abilities.

As you will realize while entering, the building is immense, so it is difficult to visit it all at once. In fact, it is divided between the inside of the fortress, the outside area, and the underground part with its huge cisterns.
To tour the inner part no reservation is necessary and you will be given a booklet with a text explaining the itinerary.
The fortress is open in July and August daily from 10:30 AM to 8:00 PM. From November to March it closes at 3:00 PM and during the rest of the year at 6:00 PM.

If Dali's museum has given you an overview of his works of art, this visit to the house where he lived with his beloved will give you even more insight into the artist's soul.
Indeed, Dali fell in love with the small fishing village of Portlligat, and chose to put down roots here. The location of the house, overlooking the sea, is just speechless.
Have a walk in the amazing garden where you will find some of his artworks. The interior furnishings are eccentric but with the artist's magic touch everything seems to be in the right place.

The restaurant is very elegant, all in wood and decorated in delicate colours, tending towards beige, with transparent glass from which you can contemplate the sea.
