The museum is recognisable from afar by its eccentric architecture, bright colours, and unusual decorations. In fact, a dozen of eggs, one of the Dalinian symbols, tower over the building and around the perimeter.
I recommend booking tickets online to enter the museum avoiding long queues. This museum tour will take you in and out of the artist's works, in fact, some installations can only be experienced.
The artworks are exhilarating and you will want to know everything behind each one. That's why I suggest you rent an audio guide to get as many details as possible about his fascinating works.
The museum is open daily from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM and there is also the possibility of evening tours during summer time.

Stop for lunch at this restaurant, which offers either a fixed lunch menu, consisting of a starter, main course, and dessert, or an a la carte option.
There are also many dishes to share, but if you are travelling by yourself then I suggest you try the calamari, which is delicious both in Andalusian style or grilled.
The restaurant is open daily from 1:00 PM to 3:15 PM and from 7:30 PM to 10:00 PM and is closed on Sundays.

As you pass through Figueres, take the opportunity to see the bastioned fortress that has been declared the biggest one in Europe.
Return to the car to drive up the hill to reach this 18th century building, an example of refined construction methods applied to that period's military engineering abilities.

As you will realize while entering, the building is immense, so it is difficult to visit it all at once. In fact, it is divided between the inside of the fortress, the outside area, and the underground part with its huge cisterns.
To tour the inner part no reservation is necessary and you will be given a booklet with a text explaining the itinerary.
The fortress is open in July and August daily from 10:30 AM to 8:00 PM. From November to March it closes at 3:00 PM and during the rest of the year at 6:00 PM.

If Dali's museum has given you an overview of his works of art, this visit to the house where he lived with his beloved will give you even more insight into the artist's soul.
Indeed, Dali fell in love with the small fishing village of Portlligat, and chose to put down roots here. The location of the house, overlooking the sea, is just speechless.
Have a walk in the amazing garden where you will find some of his artworks. The interior furnishings are eccentric but with the artist's magic touch everything seems to be in the right place.
To visit both the house and the garden you must book online at least a week in advance. You can make the purchase on this website.
The museum is open during the summer months from 9:30 AM to 8:30 PM and during the rest of the year from 10:30 AM to 6:00 PM. Ticket prices vary depending on the season.

Reach the city centre of Empuriabrava and book a dinner at this waterfront restaurant.
The restaurant is very elegant, all in wood and decorated in delicate colours, tending towards beige, with transparent glass from which you can contemplate the sea.
Just the right setting to relax while enjoying an excellent dinner. In fact, even the food will not disappoint as they specialised in grilled meats and rice.
I, therefore, recommend you opt for paella or a arroz caldoso, or try the hamburger accompanied by excellent homemade potatoes.
The restaurant is open daily from 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM and you can often find live music events. In order to book call this number +34 872 50 62 02.
