    • Meet the soul of Dali in his house-museum in Cadaqués.
    • Experience his art in the Dalì theatre-museum in Figueres.
    • Defy vertigo by climbing the tower of the Sagrada Familia.
    • Sit on the Gaudi-designed serpentine in Park Güell.
    • Lose yourself in the narrow streets of Barcelona's Gothic quarter.
    • Visit the thousand-year-old Abbey nestled in the stone of Montserrat.
    • Visit a Templar castle in Lleida.
    • Admire the Pyrenees as you cross the Aran Valley.
This itinerary in just three days will allow you to experience a different Spain, among art, nature, and history. The first day will be dedicated to discovering the artist Dalì, starting with its Theatre-Museum in Figueres where most of his works are exhibited.
You will take advantage of being in the city to visit the Castell de Sant Ferran on the hill and then head towards the coast to visit the artist's House Museum in the village of Port Lligat, in the municipality of Cadaqués.
The second day will instead be dedicated to the magical city of Barcelona, starting in the footsteps of a great artist who transformed it through his art. You will commence with a visit to the Sagrada Familia, defying heights by climbing up the towers, and then stroll through Park Güell, to admire how art and nature can coexist.
In the afternoon you will reach the Montjüic Castle on the hill, where you will admire Barcelona from above, and then head back down to the coast to relax on the Barceloneta beach. After a walk on the main Rambla you will get lost in the narrow streets of the Gothic Quarter.
The last day will be dedicated to medieval history at higher altitudes. The first stop will be Montserrat Abbey where you can visit the Benedictine convent with over a thousand years of history and see the famous Black Madonna, also called the Morenita.
You will then head to Lleida, where you will have the opportunity to enter a real Templar castle and then climb the hill where the ancient medieval city once stood and tour the Seu Vella complex of which both the Cathedral and the Castle are part and which is enclosed in fortified walls. You will return to Toulouse through the Aran Valley and the Pyrenees on the border between France and Spain.
It is important considering the different habitats you will find yourself in to bring both light clothes, a swimming suit, and something to cover you up on your last day. Also remember to book all museums well in advance as both Figueres and Barcelona are very touristic city.
