Feast with the Vikings at Njardheimr in the Viking Valley
There's no better way to start your first day than in the heart of viking valley, Gudvangen. After a quick pitstop for breakfast in the Voss valley, you'll charge forth straight into Njardarheimr where you'll meet vikings of all shapes and sizes, before heading to the picturesque town of Flåm where you'll go for a quick walk on the beach. Next stop on your way to Lom is Laerdal where time has stood still, then it's off to your final destination for the day with some sight seeing in the valleys along the way.

The highlight of your first day, and the perfect initiation into viking life, is a trip to Njardarheimr, which mean's the home of Njord (the North god). This "living museum" invites you to step back in time and see how these great seafarers once lived. Hear tales from the vikings themselves and try your hands at axe throwing and other viking-loved games. Guided tours run throughout the day and last for 45 minutes.
