Pull up to Gravfeltet Vang, in the centre of Oppdal, where you'll find one of Northern Europe's biggest burial grounds from the Iron Age with over 900 graves, a large amount coming from the Viking age. Valuable objects like swords and treasures from England, Ireland, and Southern Europe were also found and buried in the graveyard so that they could be taken into the afterlife.
