Driving South to the Bio Reserve and Back to Berlin

Let's start the day with a nice breakfast. Alongside the river, you will find many nice restaurants, like this one where you can have awesome bagels. There are also a lot of vegan options here.

You have arrived at Bio reserve Schorfheide Chrorin, which is the largest contiguous forest area in Germany. Here at the visitors centre, you can get to know more about the history of this place including the ice age, very clearly told and therefore fun for all age groups. You can see sable tooth tigers and mammoths. After you visit the museum, you can enjoy a hike in the forest.

A shortstop. From here you will have a great view of the gravel pit and the ice -age like landscape.

Park your car here and spend great time at the lake shore!

Time for lunch! There are several restaurants around the lake where you can enjoy some really good fresh fish, but here the atmosphere is very nice. The spot is beautiful, which always makes your food a bit more delicious.

After a good meal, it is always nice to go for a little walk. Or maybe even a long one! The lake is a very nice place to discover. You can walk on the path next to the water, and you will find several spots where you can rest. You can even rent a bike to go around the lake or a boat to go in it!

If, for some reason, you can't get in touch with the boat rental, there is another one just a bit further down the path.

Almost home, but not before you enjoy some good food in a very nice hotel. Easy parking, nice staff, good food. And, if you want, you can always book a room to extend your holiday!
