    This is your first day and you explore Düsseldorf. Begin your journey with the Neanderthal Museum where you learn about the history of humankind. Your next stop is a beautiful Baroque mansion, Schloss Benrath. It is home for three museums which gives you an insight of the history of Benrath and the garden. They are also representing a collection of local flora and fauna and animal sculptures. Enjoy the palace`s beautiful gardens and the park. Continue your journey, you find yourself on the west bank of the Rhine River. Altstadt is one of the oldest parts of the city. Visit historical buildings, ruins, squares, and monuments. You also find here the impressive Town Hall (Rathaus) and the statue from Elector Jan-Wellem. Following your plan, you discover another historic part of Düsseldorf.
