Immerse Yourself in the Art, History and Nature of Germany

This is your first day and you explore Düsseldorf. Begin your journey with the Neanderthal Museum where you learn about the history of humankind. Your next stop is a beautiful Baroque mansion, Schloss Benrath. It is home for three museums which gives you an insight of the history of Benrath and the garden. They are also representing a collection of local flora and fauna and animal sculptures. Enjoy the palace`s beautiful gardens and the park. Continue your journey, you find yourself on the west bank of the Rhine River. Altstadt is one of the oldest parts of the city. Visit historical buildings, ruins, squares, and monuments. Check out impressive treasures and relics. Let`s discover the St Lambertus church and Schlossturm (Castle tower) both are dating back to the 13th century. You also find here the impressive Town Hall (Rathaus) and the statue from Elector Jan-Wellem. Following your plan, you discover another historic part of Düsseldorf. While you are walking between the 17th and 18th century Baroque houses, unlock all the mysteries this place can offer. Stop at the ruin of the 12th century castle which was built for Frederick I, then check out the St Suitbertus church and its reliquary. Escape from Germany for a little while by visiting the incredible Japanese Garden which offers a variety of unique landscapes. Finally, enjoy the view with a delicious dinner in the Rhine Tower.

During your second day you discover many exciting places in Essen. The first stop is an elegant villa which is surrounded by a lake and a beautiful park. Here you learn everything about the history of the building and the family who owns it. Next, you stop at a cathedral which originally was an abbey from the 9th century. Explore the Romanesque Essen Minster and its attractions. Continue your journey to the oldest part of Dortmund. Begin your visit with the Renaissance Altes Stadthaus and explore its architectural design. Then take a walk and relax in the beautiful Stadtgarten. Your next destination is another park which offers numerous attraction such as the rose garden and the famous 212-meter-high Florian Tower. Enjoy the breathtaking view to the city. Head back to the Old Town and explore the Old Market which is a popular shopping place since the 12th century. Stop and admire the historical fountain called Bläserbrunnen. Taste delicious traditional dishes and enjoy the restaurant's unique and relaxing atmosphere.

On your final day, begin your journey in Dortmund. After a delicious breakfast, your first stop is a 13th century church St Reinoldi. Then continue with a discovery of a castle ruins from around 100ad. Enjoy your lunch at Brauhaus, then visit another location called Salvatorkirche. This Gothic church is from the 14th century. Finally, you arrive at one of the twelve manors in the co called Amt Solingen which was a former administrative and judicial district in the Duchy of Berg. This 13th century building is really worth a visit as it offers many exciting places to discover. Immerse yourself in its historic atmosphere by exploring the unique architectures, art works, relics, and beautiful decorations.
