Day 1

Beaches, Whales and Nature Reserves
Say goodbye to Cape Town and head to Hermanus via Clarence Drive, one of the most scenic drives in South Africa. Enjoy the views along the way. You can even see the whales (in whale season from July to November).
Then head to Hermanus and explore the beautiful seaside town. Have lunch at a unique location then visit the nearby nature reserve for a pleasant afternoon walk.
Enjoy dinner at your hotel which overlooks Walker Bay, then have some well-deserved rest.

Leave Hermanus and head to Cape Agulhas, the southernmost tip of Africa, to see the lighthouse and the point where the two oceans meet. Take the coastal route, where you can do shark cage diving if you are looking for some adventure.

Marine Safaris and Desert Gardens
Wake up early this morning and do a marine safari in the reserve with the lodge. You may see large creatures like whales, dolphins and sharks, and smaller creatures, such as starfish and abalones. Go on a morning hike and enjoy the splendid views. Then bid farewell to the reserve and head back towards Cape Town.
Take the slightly longer route to visit a unique desert botanical garden. Then go for a soak in the mineral baths. From there, head to a working farm for a late lunch, before you head back to Cape Town.
